Streets of The World - Warsaw

„Warsaw” – was a movie created by Tomasz Sikora. I had an impression about urban culture, city ambience, full of vice and passion. Warsaw is a unique city where history meets the present. Renata Plaga was inspired by the images and combined them with a minimalist, poetic form to reflect the culture of a modern city. „I draw energy from the intensity of the metropolis, while looking for a personal space of freedom and silence” – says the author.

During the show on November 8, Renata Plaga read texts against the background of Tomasz Sikora’s film, accompanied by outstanding musicians: Paweł Szamburski and Buba Kuyateha.

Poems were creatively transformed into the language of urban graffiti by the GREY, and GPAS Association inscribed them in the urban space of Warsaw. One of the graphic carriers of the action is a postcard that children from the GPAS Association will distribute during the event on November 8 and also after.

All the money raised will go to GPAS projects, http://gpaspraga.org.pl/
